The Requirements

To be successful in this position you will have:
  • 8+ years of related sales experience with a minimum of 5 years in sales management.
  • Proven record of achievement in prospecting, business development, and closing new business using a consultative sales approach.

  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and negotiation skills.

The Role

Today’s Berlitz provides much more than foreign language training programs. Working closely with the Canadian Director of Operations, North American and Global Sales Leadership, and the North American Marketing Team, you’ll build upon the Canadian sales efforts of our successful traditional language programs and support our growth strategy that includes offering clients cultural preparedness and global leadership programs and tools.
 
You’ll take your understanding of Canada’s different territorial markets to build a strong, knowledgeable sales team; identify sales prospects; and consult with clients. If you have international experience in the corporate world, all the better, as you’ll understand the key needs of our global clients.

To succeed in this role, you'll need to:
  • Deliver aggressive performance targets and profitable sales results.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve business goals.

  • Conduct industry and competitive analysis to identify new business and growth opportunities.
  • Business development including, networking, trade shows and identifying opportunities within the Canadian Market.
  • Build and manage key customer relationships through sales calls while delivering to the customer’s expectations.
  • Create, monitor and control sales related budgets.
